That Time I Wrote Something That Wasn't A Play: SCP-3348

Back in 2022, I was really into the SCP Wiki. For the uninitiated, it's a collaborative creative writing project in which authors can contribute catalog entries for the fictional SCP Foundation, a secret organization that secures, contains, and protects anomalous items, people, creatures, and places. Some are horrific, some are benign, and some are really friendly, actually. After reading several articles on the Wiki, I decided to write one for myself and submit it. There's a review process, and to my delight it made it through! As far as I can tell, it was recieved well, having a respectable rating on the Wiki. I personally think that I tried a bit too much for my first SCP and that the final result is certainly that of a beginner, but I'm happy with it. As the title of this post suggests, SCP-3348 is one of the few pieces of non-play fiction that I have published. I wonder if you can find the other example on this website? Anyway, playwriting is my focus of course, but I would like to try and expand my horizons, since projects like this show that I have some potential (even if the format is irregular). I have been sitting on some fanfiction ideas...

New Website is Published on Neocities!

My new portfolio site is now up for the web to see! This is an updated version of a Wix site I had made maybe 7 or 8 years ago. I'm currently finishing my last semester at TTU and this website is my final project for Introduction to Web Design. Learning HTML and CSS has been fun, though JavaScript still intimidates me. As someone who grew up with the internet, finally seeing how it gets put together is kind of a full-circle moment, and is a very exciting thing to be able to know; I can make anything!

This website's purpose is to host all of my creative endevours. My main stuff will be going in the tabs above, and anything else will eventually end up as a link on the About page or a post on this blog! The types of stuff I plan to post includes non-play writing, stuff from old middle school/highschool journals, entries from my dream journal, any old thing I can find on my computer, game reviews, and scrapped ideas, among other miscellaneous thingies. Don't expect a regular frequency or anything; I'll just be updating as I feel like it.
